Food and beverages will be provided.
Lab Night
Tuesday, October 21, 6:00 – 7:00 pm Beecher 101
Are you a Psychology major interested in gaining experience in a lab? Are you confused about what options are available? Are you wondering how Lab Night might help you?
Lab Night is an annual event hosted by Psi Chi and PRISM with the sole purpose of uniting undergraduates interested in doing research with Psychology labs that are in need of help. The evening will include presentations by graduate students and post-doctoral fellows in need of assistance on a wide variety of projects. Following the presentations, you’ll also have an opportunity to mingle and chat with the evening’s presenters. Food and beverages will be served.
Psi Chi Meetings
Wednesdays throughout the quarter, 5:00 – 6:00 pm Beecher 101
Psi Chi is composed of psychology majors and minors, as well as individuals who are simply interested in Psychology. Their goals are to:
* Educate people about the psychology department
* Help those interested in psychology further those interests (by hosting Lab Night,
graduate-school panels, etc)
* Create forums and resources for psychology students to pool information
Our Psi Chi chapter has no academic requirements; anyone who is interested or even just curious is encouraged to attend meetings and events. Note: Majors who are not planning on pursuing honors can still be members of the honor society.
